Michael Gilheany

Director, Facilities & Grounds
(He, him, his)

Michael Gilheany is a man of many talents. He started working at the age of 12 painting houses with his father and waiting tables shortly after. A fast learner, Gilheany transitioned from dishwashing to cooking, from painting to building to the management of large-scale projects, all of which point to his curious, creative, and driven personality.

Before joining the ArtYard team, Michael maintained an aspect of self-employment as a contractor, both in between and during professional jobs, as he did while working on a renovation television show for HGTV, in fast-paced restaurants in Philadelphia. This helped him develop a wide range of valuable skills and experience, as well as a strong work ethic.

Michael brings a great sense of teamwork to ArtYard and his problem-solving nature generates a contagious excitement that we all appreciate. Not surprisingly, Michael is also an artist and as a longtime local resident, he is thrilled to be part of ArtYard’s growth and effort to incubate an engaging creative community in Frenchtown and beyond.
