Meghan Van Dyk

Meghan Van Dyk is a community builder and storyteller. She has 15 years of experience working with nonprofits, philanthropic organizations, local leaders, and media-makers in New Jersey to amplify community voices and support collaboration, social change, and racial equity.

Meghan provides strategic leadership and operational oversight of ArtYard’s communications strategy to support its mission as an incubator for creative expression and a catalyst for collaborations that reveal the transformative power of art. She manages the organization’s marketing initiatives and digital presence and works to build trusted relationships with key stakeholders and communities.

In her previous role at the Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation, she led strategic communications and programming to facilitate civic engagement through local journalism, creative storytelling, and community media projects. Before that, she was a local editor at the Daily Record, overseeing local news and a special section, Grassroots, which she launched to celebrate the local sustainability movement through stories, community essays, and events, including the Morris County Sunday Supper Series, an innovative food-and-drink feast.

Meghan lives in Pennsylvania with her husband, two stepdaughters, and a foxhound. She enjoys hiking, gardening, and exploring vibrant small towns like Frenchtown.
