Meghan Van Dyk is a community builder and storyteller. She has 15 years’ experience working with local leaders, journalists, media-makers, nonprofits, and philanthropic organizations in New Jersey to amplify community voices and support collaboration, social change, and racial equity.

In her previous role at the Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation, she led strategic communications and programming to facilitate civic engagement through local journalism, creative storytelling, and community media projects. Before that, she was a local editor at the Daily Record overseeing local news and a special section she launched called Grassroots, which celebrated the sustainability movement through stories, community essays, and events, including the Morris County Sunday Supper Series, an innovative local food and drink feast.

Meghan is a New Jersey native and recent Pennsylvania transplant. She enjoys hiking, gardening, and exploring vibrant small towns like Frenchtown.
