Agnes Michalek
Agnes Michalek is passionate about the intersection of art and health, and about harnessing the beauty and healing properties of natural materials to craft harmonious spaces that support the human experience, both psychologically and somatically.
Agnes earned a Bachelor of Arts in Art History and Public Health from Rutgers University and spent nearly a decade working in New York’s public health sector. While she found the work interesting and intellectually stimulating, she felt drawn back to the arts. She now considers this chapter of her career a renaissance, bringing together her backgrounds in art and public health in new ways.
Agnes volunteers teaching English as a Second Language and helps green card holders prepare for their citizenship interviews.
