Sonder (noun): A word that describes the realization that every passerby is living a life as vivid and complex as your own.
The word was coined by author and neurologist John Koenig, whose 2012 project to come up with new words for emotions that lack words evolved into The Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows.
The Sonder Circle is an invitation-only group of like-minded, curious seekers of art, humanity, and creative mischief who serve as informal ambassadors for ArtYard and gather to explore art together.
