Bridge Street Residency Reading Room Opening
Please join us for a reception at ArtYard’s Bridge Street Residency at 5:30 PM on Friday, April 21 to mark the opening of our new Reading Room.
The Bridge Street Residency, at 12 Bridge Street, houses artists-in-residence and visiting artists and offers an outdoor installation space right on Frenchtown’s main street where a sculpture from the series Erosion by artist Ledelle Moe is on view.
The Reading Room is a newly renovated space offering a library of art, poetry, and design books meant to serve as inspiration to artists-in-residence. As the newest part of our campus, the Reading Room will also occasionally be the site of pop-up exhibitions, poetry readings, and other community events.
The initial collection of texts, ranging from the traditional to the obscure, was curated by Spoonbill & Sugartown Booksellers in Brooklyn, New York.
The community is invited to join us to celebrate its opening with refreshments at Bridge Street Residency’s front lawn and to walk through the space.
Registration is requested.
