Aqualumina Workshop: Jellyfish Parasols

Please join us to create ethereal jellyfish to carry in Aqualumina’s lantern parade on May 9, 2026.

Visual artist Rebecca Kelly will guide participants in building their own unique jellyfish design using ribbon, fairy lights, and other materials. You may bring any fabric scraps or special adornments you have in mind (no glitter, please). Participants will use a hot glue gun — children under 14 should be assisted by an adult.

Workshops are Sundays, Feb. 1 & 8 from 1 to 3 PM and Thursdays, March 5 and 26 and April 9 from 5 to 7 PM.

Limit 10 participants per session. The workshop is $20. Each registered participant will be taking home one parasol to bring to the Festival!
