Margaret Parish is an artist, object maker, and collector. Her practices are connected by her use of unexpected materials and driven by her involvement in processes of transformation, growth, and deconstruction.
Margaret’s work takes place primarily in the landscape where she creates gardens that evolve through the relationship between her stonework and the surrounding environment. As a collector and curator of objects, she gravitates toward things whose obscurity upends our notions of material categorization. Margaret graduated with a BFA in sculpture from Rhode Island School of Design in 2014. She lives in New Hope, PA.
