Ted Sabety is an electronic musician, guitarist, and producer. His background includes studying jazz guitar with Larry Coryell, composition with Marty Bresnick, and electronic music composition with Jacob Druckman at the Yale School of Music. He performed with the Sheep’s Clothing experimental music ensemble at Yale. His background in atonal electronic music led him to work on hip-hop records for artists like Run-DMC and Mob Deep. He also co-produced with legendary funkmaster Bernie Worrell.

More recently, he wrote and recorded several records for Les Techno, for which one reviewer on the Huffington Post said “ It’s cool… swaggy and clever.” He also wrote and recorded “Your Robot Took My Job” for the local New York punk artists Spike Polite and Michelle Shocked. That release was reviewed by Glide Magazine in September 2024, whose called it “a punk throwback … that brings to mind the powerful simplicity of the Stooges and The Ramones.” He releases music through Solid Bass Records.
