November encourages us to take stock of all that for which we are grateful. In that vein, let us begin with our gratitude for the arts and their tremendous power to change the world for the better.
We are honored to welcome Audrey, Lili, Daria, Yuliia, Veronika, and Olesia of Slovo. Theater Group to Frenchtown for a five-day residency and two performances of their original work, Mothermotherland. The actors arrived this week after performing in New Brunswick on the heels of another residency in Chicago, where the group sadly had to say goodbye to Maksym. Just days ago, Maks returned to Ukraine with several suitcases filled with warm winter clothing and other items for his fellows in arms. Please consider joining us at their performances this weekend or show your support by dropping off a donation at our Box Office.
This month, we also launch Creative Movement for Older Adults (a handful of spots remain) to awaken our bodies and spark inner joy just as the days begin to get shorter. Ahead of the holiday season, film lovers can now get advanced All-Access Wonders Pass tickets for our just-announced Big Screen Wonders Film Festival, featuring films that demand a big screen.
November is a season of change and growth for ArtYard as we invite applications for two positions — Managing Director and Assistant to the Executive Director.
More information and links to tickets for upcoming programs are below. For tickets, you can also stop in during gallery hours or call our Box Office at 908.996.5018, ext 407.
We hope to see you soon!
